I was going through a really stressful time in my life. I wasn’t watching what I would eat, I wasn’t working out and just feeling real sluggish. I was starting to buy bigger clothes moving into a size 13 and weighing 155 lbs. I put a stop to that real fast by enlisting in the most challenging program, Bootcamp With Jess.

By the end of Phase I (6weeks), I was down to a size 10 and weighing 140 lbs. I am now in Phase II, week 10 and I’m in a size 7/8 and weigh 131 lbs. This program has not only conditioned my body but has conditioned my mind.

Bootcamp with Jess is truly a program of results. I would highly recommend this program anyone.

I am 59 years old and I have joined Bootcamp With Jess. I even survived hell week. If I can do it, so can the rest of you ladies out there. I am out of shape, muscles flabbing, muffin top hanging over, and 50 pounds overweight! Just within 2 weeks, I feel like a new person. I am enjoying this experience. Instructor Thomas has me for 1 hr. 4 times a week and he works me like there is no tomorrow. It’s exhausting and invigorating all at the same time. If you really want to improve your well being and feel youthful again – Join Bootcamp with Jess!!! I promise he will whip you into shape. ALL you young people need to give your parents Bootcamp With Jess for their birthdays, anniversary, whatever – but give them a kick in the right direction if you want them to be around to see their grandkids and play with them. I’m not looking for a rock star body but I do like to swim and would like to look ok in my swimsuit. My kids and husband think boot camp is the greatest thing ever for me to do. PT Sim #1

My name is PT Sim. I started this program as a skeptic, didn’t think it would do anything for me. I am a Type II Diabetic and as you can see in my before picture was grossly overweight. I was taking the following medications mainly due to being overweight:

- Simvastatin (used to reduce LDL and bad cholesterol and increase HDL)

- Benicar (treats high blood pressure)

- Actos (helps to control blood sugar in adults with type II diabetes)

- Metformin (another medication to help control the blood sugar in adults with type II diabetes)

Thanks to Bootcamp With Jess, after 12 months in doing this program my Doctor has taken me off ALL of the above medications. As you can see in my after pictures I am a changed man. I have 3 young boys that now I know I will live to see them graduate H.S. and college. If you think you can’t do this, or this program isn’t for you or if you think this program is too expensive, you need to think again. I am saving hundreds of dollars each month not having to purchase this medication. I owe it all to Bootcamp With Jess.

PT Sim #2

At 40 years old, I am in the best physical shape of my life. After my second child, I was left with extra weight that would not go away. After 12 weeks of Bootcamp With Jess, I lost 30 lbs and was stronger than I had ever been. After 5 months I could do full sets of one armed pushups, have defined abs, and can sprint on a fully inclined treadmill at full speed. I went from a tight fitting size 12 to a comfortable size 6. My next goal is to be a size 4 and to be able to do pull-ups unassisted.

Bootcamp With Jess is the most difficult workout I have ever done. It is also the most gratifying workout I have ever done. The instructors push you past your comfort zone to reach your personal limit each day. I am always so amazed and proud of what I was able to accomplish each time I complete a workout. You are continually pushed harder than you would ever push yourself. You could never get this kind of a workout on your own.

The Bootcamp instructors are committed to each person they train. They give you 100% and make sure you give 100% back. They will help you attain your goals and then set new ones. They will push you to reach new physical bests.

I like the teamwork of the military style workouts. You train with the same small group of people each day and build a camaraderie that is unique to Bootcamp With Jess. Even though you receive individual training, many exercises are done as a group. Often your teammates must continue an exercise for the duration it takes you to complete a task. This keeps everyone working together and doesn’t allow anyone to slack at the group’s expense.

My husband started Bootcamp With Jess weighing over 300 lbs with diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He had 4 hospital stays in 3 years. He did Hell Week with a 40 lb vest that was held on with duct tape because the straps wouldn’t fit around his body. He could not do a sit-up, could barely walk the treadmill and had to modify most exercises to fit his ability level. He is now 60 lbs lighter, doing all the workouts, running at an 8 speed and higher, and is stronger than he has been in decades. All his blood tests have improved along with his overall health and energy. Bootcamp has done great things for our sex life too. Thank you Jess!

I absolutely loved working out at Bootcamp with Jess. The instructors were very aware of my personal goals, and made sure I achieved them. I was pushed to physical limits that I was unaware I had. I have seen amazing changes to my body, self esteem and lifestyle. I lost a total of 50 pounds, my gallbladder pain is gone, I sleep better, my blood pressure is much lower and I generally feel healthy overall. I wanted to take a minute to thank you again for your impact on my life. This June is now 2 years since I stepped into Bootcamp With Jess. I’ve maintained the fitness level and lifestyle I’ve always desired and taken it up a notch. Thanks to you, I’ve run a few 5K’s and challenged myself to go back to the days of old and hit the track again.

I recently participated in the 2009 Utah Summer Olympic Track and Field Meet. I ran the 400 and 800 meter runs and placed 1st and 3rd in my age group(40-44). I performed well (1:05 and 2:41) and enjoyed the experience of competing again. Actually, my times weren’t that far off from my high school days. Next year, I’m thinking about participating in 4 events and will attempt to inspire others to also participate. It may sound corny but you set me on the path to find my inner athlete again.
